Nice surprise .. now you'll have to make him something. I clicked on your second picture to get a closer look at your quilt (which is very nice) but my eyes went straight to the striped crochet blanket in the background. Can you tell me what stitch you used - its very attractive. xoxox

Have fun! I never learned to sew. And now I don't have the patience for it. I am going to make myself do some simple handsewing though -- no matter how it turns out. :) I have so many unfinished projects. Hope your day is great. Tammy

Wow! Did you get a new machine? Looks a bit fancier than my old Singer. I am failing at the complete UFOs. I even joined a group on Facebook that is dedicated to finishing quilts. I get like this every winter...I just want to knit but you should see my craft room with material spilling over everywhere!

Wow, what a lovely machine. I have never owned a sewing machine before, but I am currently looking for a beginners one. I don't think I would know how to use that bad boy, but I know you'll put it to good use.

Lots of Luck, Arwedd xx

That's a nice looking sewing machine. Mine is about 20 years old and I keep thinking that I'd like to have a new one, but I really only sew straight lines so I guess I'll keep my old one. No need to spend money when it's not necessary. :)
